ABOUT US
Law Enforcement Films (LEF) is founded by Twin Cities-based filmmaker and former broadcast journalist, Edgar Linares. Edgar's broadcast career spans more than two decades, across the United States. He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, but considers Minnesota his adopted home state.
Edgar has worked in television and radio for over 20 years.
Law Enforcement Films is a branch of Lake & Tree Films LLC, another Twin Cities-based film company. LEF was created after high demand for Edgar's expertise in creating videos for law enforcement.
LEF is not only a video production company, it's a digital marketing services provider. We specialize in high quality video productions for law enforcement agencies who need videos for marketing, recruitment, public service announcements, and social media.
We primarily work with Minnesota agencies, but we have traveled across the country to work with Federal Bureaus in other states. LEF's staff are Emmy, Associated Press and Edward R. Murrow winners in both television and radio production.
Our staff works side by side with first responders to help harness the power of video and social media to help with recruitment, safety messages, and marketing.
LEF also offers drone filming and photography to clients, we are Part 107 certified.
